A new cryptovirus calling itself PUBG Ransomware demands that you play the video game "Player Unknown Battlegrounds" for 7 hours.
That is not needed as the program will unlock your files almost immediately after you begin playing.
There are other ways with which you can unlock your files, one of them being the unlock code "s2acxx56a2sae5fjh5k2gb5s2e".

If you got your files unlocked, you should scan your computer with a security software,
to make sure that the PC is clean and protected from the ransomware, as well as other malware threats.

If you are having trouble with this ransomware, stumble upon a new version of it or have questions, simply write below.

The ransomware targets players, regardless of the way they launch the game and what additional software they have or what Internet provider they have, but the good news is that its actions are reversable.

Having the game, as long as its paid and not "cracked" shouldn't be a cause for concern.
