« on: November 13, 2015, 05:13:12 pm »
Online games nowadays are an even more attractive target for cyber criminals lately. A scientific research has established that a much larger percentage of PC users have spent more hours on the clock gaming than emailing the last several years. Along with the increase of the interest in online gaming, it has become an equally good opportunity for cyber criminals to infect user PCs with malware.

Cyber-criminals are very aware of the popularity of online gaming and this is why they have successfuly managed to establish online gaming websites that are either scamming ones or malware containing. Such websites are being spread via spam bots and other PC users as well as community groups in big centers for gaming activity such as the Steam platform. Users infected with the malware and having a poor anti-malware and antivirus protection are usually doomed and become victims of this lucrative illegal business, worth 15$ billion so far.

Here are some of the websites uncovered by ESG virus researchers and reported to spread malware amongst users:

    anywhere-games(.)com
    galacticflashgames(.)com
    gamefactoryinteractive(.)com
    games-digest(.)com
    mariogamesplay(.)com
    towerofdefense(.)com

Stay tuned on this forum as we begin to discuss and help about new gaming malware and suggest gamers ways to protect themselves from various Trojans, Worms, DDoS attacks and other threats that lie within the depths of the gaming world.

Hello, maro

I believe you will find the information you seek by downloading the latest updated database from this website:

http://urlblacklist.com/?sec=download

I advise waiting for download because they have a daily limit for downloaded files. I hope this is of use to you, since there is "Games" category in the database.

Best Regards,
