« on: December 26, 2018, 05:48:29 pm »
This morning I found my PC infected with some variant of the dharma ransomware.  Its put everything in a .adobe format both on my main drive and the connected backup drives. Is there anything available to decrypt it?

Hello @digidan,
This is a known ransomware cryptovirus that is called Dharma.

You can read more about it from the following article:

.adobe Files Virus (Dharma) – Remove It

As per your question - currently there is no known decryption tool.

Tip: Never leave backup drives connected in the same system and/or network.

It is unfortunate what has happened to you. If a decryption tool is found, we will update the article linked above.

Kind Regards,
