« on: December 04, 2015, 03:32:20 pm »
Hello, this is a quick tutorial to help users use the Windows file recovery feature in case it is enabled and working and they have lost their files:

Step 1: Go to My Computer and go to the file which you wish to restore`s last known location.
Step 2: Right-click on the file that is corrupted and then choose Properties from the drop-down menu. 2/2: In case the file does not exist right-click on the folder itself and go to its Properties instead.
Step 3: Once in Properties, navigate to the Previous Versions tab above.
Step 4: Choose a backed up version to view after which click on View. It is STRONGLY ADVISABLE to click on View because once you click on copy every last version of your file may be vanish in some circumstances and be replaced witht he version you copied. So choose wisely.
Step 5: Select the file with your mouse, right-click it and then click Copy when you are all set.
Step 6: Choose the location where you want to place a copy.
Step 7: Right-Click the folder where you want to copy the files and then click on Paste.

After this your files should appear in the chosen location.
