Sage 2.0 Ransomware strikes unsuspecting users
« on: January 30, 2017, 10:40:32 am »
Sage ransomware is back with version 2.0.
The ransomware still encrypts files by
placing the .sage extension to them.

If you are infected, you'll see the following message:

The virus spreads cleverly, by attaching files
inside e-mails, presenting them as important.
The attachment is a .zip file with a document.
If you open the document file and enable its macros,
your computer becomes infected with the virus.

From the following link, you can see the article
about the new Sage 2.0 Ransomware infection.
