Zepto ransomware is the latest reincarnation of the dreadful
Locky ransomware virus.
Zepto ransomware uses the same ransom note as Locky and there are plenty of other similarities, including: the spam email campaigns, the renaming of files with symbols, the websites providing instructions and a couple more. The ransomware will encrypt your files with a
.zepto extension and demand money in the range of 300~330 US dollars (0.5 BitCoins). There is no known decryptor for now, but you should never pay extortionists - you probably won't get your data back.
