It might be possible - can you provide more information? What kind of laptop is it? Like what brand?
Did the actual hard drive brake in any way or you mean that it just fails to start / load files and OS?

Kind Regards,
Execute

dell ultrabook insp 5423 14z, at first look hard drive doesn't seem to be damage or break. When laptop fall, next moment i tried to start it and started normally but after 5 to 10 mins it turned off. Laptop hanged up at Dell icon which come at the start of the laptop. I checked it to the hardware expert, he told me that Hard drive had crashed.

@Tabeer - Usually when you drop a laptop - 2 parts are the most possible to break - the motherboard and the hard disk drive. (depends on how it was dropped / angle / height etc.).

If your laptop worked for 5 to 10 minutes then that is good. At least it was working somehow. Some part keeping things in their place might be loose or broken that could have caused displacement in some time.

The real question is - did you drop the laptop while it was working or when it was OFF?

If you dropped it while the hard disk was working, then only partial recovery is possible - you have to take it to an expert who disassembles laptop hard drives, so he can check if everything is in place - are there broken parts. If there are things that are broken, you are going to need a hard disk that is almost identical to yours in terms of physical parts. So, those parts can be used to make your hard disk working again or at least for a limited time - so they can copy and get any files from it. Then reassemble the new drive so it can be working.

It all comes to finding out what happened by taking out the pieces and looking inside your laptop's hardware. The problem might be something else or there could be a number of problems. Or just a simple displacement of part and all it takes is reseating them to their places.

But taking apart of your laptop must be done by somebody who knows about dismantling hard drives. There are cables and parts that are delicate, and if broken can be irreperable if you can't find a replacement.

Laptop fell when it is in "on" state. Actually I have replaced hard drive as i said earlier that Hardware expert guy told me, your hard drive had crashed. With new hard drive laptop working fine. The only issue was the hard drive that i have already replaced.

@Tabeer, I am glad to hear that the laptop works!  :)

So it was indeed the hard drive. Well, that is the worst state to drop it in - while it is still "ON".
The driver "heads" could have scratched areas where data is located.
So, probably, you wouldn't be able to get a full recovery, but I am hoping you at least get a partial recovery.

A couple of things you could try, actually:

I wish you the best of luck!

@Execute: Thanks, initially hard disk didn't show in "my computer" then i used manage option and clean the hard. this process showed hard disk in "my computer". then format hard drive. Now hard run perfectly but I'm afraid, data will not recover. i try recovery software but nothing found.

Well, Tabeer, I am happy that your hard disk runs now... but usually recovery software is made for files that are deleted from you and the hard disk saves some sort of data for those files to be recoverable. The "Format" setting is a bit different - that is a clean wipe of the whole disk drive, and I am not sure if recovery software will work.

If that data is really valueable to you, then try going to experts who are dealing with hard disk data recovery and have the tools for it.
I think that now that is your only option and it might be possible - just take into consideration how much money they take for the service, and if the data you lost is really worth it for the price.

All the Best,
Execute

@Execute: Thanks for suggestion. I'll try to recover data from any data recovery expert but i'm afraid data will not be recovered. Any how try is a must thing at my part.
