Hello, here are some instructions on how to remove various browser extensions from the most widely employed web browsers - Mozilla Firefox, Google Chrome, Safari Browser, Internet Explorer.
Lets begin with Firefox:
Step 1 - Run Mozilla Firefox and open the drop-down menu window.
Step 2 - Choose the “Add-ons” icon.
Step 3 - Mark the questionable add-on and then click Remove.
After the add-on is uninstalled, close Mozilla and start it again.
Now for Chrome:
Step 1 - Run Google Chrome and open the drop down menu.
Step 2 - Drag your mouse over Tools and after that from the extended menu select Extensions.
Step 3 - From the Extensions menu locate the extension you want to remove and click on the garbage icon on its right.
After the questionable extension is removed, close Google Chrome and open it again.
For Internet Explorer:
Step 1 – Open Internet Explorer and click on Tools.
Step 2 – From the drop-down menu select ‘Manage Add-ons’
Step 3 – Look for the setting ‘All add-ons’ in ‘Show’ of the first window – Add-on Types.
Step 4 – Select the add-on you want gone and click ‘Disable’. A window will appear asking for confirmation. Tick all boxes and confirm.
After that restart IE and you should be fine.
For Safari users:
Step 1 – Start Safari
Step 2 – Click on the gear leaver icon on the top right then locate Preferences.
Step 3 – Go to the extensions tab and locate any extensions you want removed.
Step 4 – Click on them and then click on Uninstall.
After this, reset Safari and you should be all set.
