Malware Removal Questions and Guides / Re: DOMN Ransomware
« on: September 26, 2019, 02:25:45 pm »
Hi,
Can any one know how to decrypt domn ransomware files.

Thanks

Hello, @jeetu4591,
domn is UNdecryptable at the moment and it might not get decrypted soon (if ever).

Older variants of the STOP ransomware have a decryptor you can try, but I am sure it won't work:

Off-Topic Discussions / Re: zebra/symbol TC70 walmart software removal
« on: September 25, 2019, 06:08:37 pm »
Hey i recently acwuired a symbol tc70 and i am wondering what exactly it can be turned into as well as what to do with the walmart software on it if there is anything useful for it or if it is just garbage

Hello @evaxangel03,

personally, I didn't know about this device. Seems like a KAT phone. If it uses Android OS, I think its not well optimized, but everything runs Android nowadays. I also don't know what Walmart puts as software, but as a general rule of thumb I uninstall any software put by any store chain. This device seems to be old - from 2014. So, I wouldn't even worry about usefulness and use it as a backup phone/device and buy a cheap KAT from last year (if tied to a low budget).

I don't feel I have been very helpful, but hopefully you will find use for your newly acquired device.
As this is rather a niche forum, don't expect a heap of answers here.

Best Regards,

Malware Removal Questions and Guides / Re: Affected by HESE virus
« on: August 28, 2019, 05:27:57 pm »
Sir/Madam,
My external hard disc has been infected by HESE virus as a result all the file such as excel, word, pdf, multimedia, image dont open. How can i open those file please give me suggestion elaborately.

Hello Narendra,
this is a variant of the STOP/DJVU Ransomware virus. It has put an encryption to your files so you can NOT open them.
It asks for a ransom fee - a sum of money close to 1000 US dollars to be paid for unlocking them. If you pay, there is NO guarantee your files will unlock. You can read more from the article here:

https://sensorstechforum.com/remove-hese-virus/

Malware researchers release decryption tools for some of these ransomware viruses, so if you can wait a couple of weeks, maybe there will be a free decrter released.

Web Browsing Practices / Google Calendar Spam - How to fix it?
« on: August 27, 2019, 03:51:33 pm »
Many users are reporting to have spam in their Google Calendar.
They do not suspect that they themselves have given access to all applications they use with the same account. With that access the ads will come flooding their calendar. To stop this, you have to the option "Automatically add invitations to my calendar" to OFF.

Having the right password has become such a hefty task. You are 100% correct at this. There should be more characters as default now. Could you share the reference where you read this?

If you Google "8 character passwords cracked in under 2.5 hours", you will find plenty of articles.

Nasoh is the latest threat from the STOP ransomware family after the recent appearance of .cosaroh earlier today.
Nasoh is no different and includes the same ransom note, infection technique and spreads around Egypt, India and some third World countries. To see how to remove this virus and if there is a potential to restore your files, head over to our blog article:

Malware Removal Questions and Guides / COHAROS VIRUS
« on: August 13, 2019, 11:50:50 am »
COHAROS VIRUS virus is the newest variant from STOP DJVU ransomware.
The cyber criminals behind Coharos keep uploading their malware and infecting more users across the World,
including Nigeria, Vietnam, Indonesia, Turkey, Cambodia and other countries.

It seems that there are little to no changes compared to previous versions, but you can check out and read our article,
for a precise, on-point information right here:

Remove .coharos File Virus

If you are a victim, do not pay the ransom, as soon there might be a file restoration tool.

Malware Removal Questions and Guides / Re: RANSOMWARE FORMAT
« on: August 05, 2019, 06:50:18 pm »
Hi, i reseted m'y computer after the format ransomware infection. But what i want know is how To decrypt all my files encrypted. Do I must install spyhunter 5 and the stellar decryptor?
Thanks

Ps. Please excuse my english.

SpyHunter is an anti-malware tool, which will delete the files of the virus. I don't know what you mean by "resetting" - did you reinstall the operating system or? Most malware viruses of this kind are persistent so even with a reinstall can remain on your computer. You should scan your system for viruses in any case, to make sure your computer is clean.

Stellar Data Recovery restores deleted files. This ransomware is believed to encrypt the files without deleting them first, so it might not help you. Just wait a few weeks and see if the article is updated with a decryptor (Usually it takes a few weeks for a decryptor to be released):

If nothing has happened by now, your files and computer are most probably okay. I can think of a keylogger that can collect passwords, but I don't think there are such distributed with this ransomware. Anyway, it depends where you downloaded the game from. If it was from a website you trust, then you should be okay, but if you downloaded from PirateBay or some unofficial mirror you should scan your PC and registry for viruses (malware).

In this day and age, I wouldn't risk it with a cracked version.
I am not sure but I think the mobile version is free, which you can make be displayed on your PC and use a keyboard.

Best Regards,

Have you had your browsers redirect you to the search engine of Bing,
while your settings are actually set to another search engine?
If you have seen such suspicious activity,
then you most probably have your computer machine infected with
the Bing Redirect "Virus".

Visit the page above and read the article on how to deal with it.

Is it possible to decrypt files encrypted with the Bopador ransomware?

Not yet, but keep watch of the above linked article for an update.

Malware Removal Questions and Guides / How to remove Bopador Virus
« on: July 25, 2019, 06:17:20 pm »
If your files have an extension .bopador and Windows has named every one of them as a "BOPADOR FILE" than your computer system has been compromised and you have the Bopador Virus. The Bopador Virus is part of the STOP ransomware family and as such it is very dangerous. Usually a decryptor comes out for most versions after a week or two, but that isn't a guarantee that your files won't get encrypted again. You have to remove the ransomware cryptovirus with an anti-malware software. Read the article linked here to learn more about this threat and how you could remove it from your computer machine:

Remove Bopador Virus

Malware Removal Questions and Guides / Re: .crypt Encrypted files
« on: July 22, 2019, 06:39:59 pm »
Hello there,
My almost all files have infected from the .crypt virus. Any solution to recover the files?

There are a few viruses that use that extension for the files they lock.
It is most probably this one: https://sensorstechforum.com/crypt-ransomware-remove/

but you can also check out these ones:
https://sensorstechforum.com/tag/crypt/

Let me know which one is it, but for now there is no decryption program for any of the five of them...

Thanks for the solution

No problem. Hopefully it helps.
