Find is Avira free antivirus spyware

I put Avira Free on my website when I went to uninstall it. It still would not uninstall even when I went into safe mode. I would like to get some feedback on this? I guess free means you do not get something for nothing.I finally got to uninstall the Avira remnants with a remover software.

That seems strange - I've had no trouble in removing Avira in the past... Are you sure it was really Avira and not some rogue software or other malware? Anyway, glad you achieved what you wanted.
