ParetoLogic Internet Security Software Review

paretologic-internet-security-stforumNo matter if you spend all of your time online or just use the Internet to check your email, online security should be your top priority. Users are constantly being targeted by different forms of malware and spyware, and even the most educated can be fooled by a smartly written phishing email disguised as an official document.

What can we do to stay protected? Besides keeping ourselves up-to-date with all the latest malicious campaigns (such as ransomware and its primary distributor – spam), we should consider having an active security solution at all times.

What We Like

  • ParetoLogic Internet Security is an affordable and user-friendly security solution;
  • For a reasonable price, you will receive adequate anti-virus protection, frequent updates, email protection, malicious website blocking and a firewall.
  • In terms of detection of malware already infecting the system, ParetoLogic Internet Security has quite a satisfactory performance.

What Is Missing

  • Internet Security’s real-time active protection may not be the best on the market;
  • The program’s developers haven’t submitted a copy to AV Test, an independent security institute that has tested many of the current security solutions on the market;
  • The program doesn’t appear to have a 24/7 technical assistance, according to its website, it provides support via email. Phone calls are possible within the time frame 8am – 4pm PST.

Conclusion

ParetoLogic Internet Security is a security solution, appropriate for the average PC user who seeks maximum protection at minimum financial cost. The program offers many features to adjust according to your preferences (such as the scheduled scans), and has a simplified and intuitive interface. It’s a recommended tool for home users.
