It has DOD file shredding and other features that are oriented in permanently wiping the data from your emails, browsing history and cache. Privacy Controls – Main Features

When we installed the 3.22 MB program, we have concluded that for its size it has all of the necessary features, and it is not overcrowded with mindless settings. It also installs quite fast and is only demanding on your computer while scanning for and deleting history and cache:

There were other primary features we focused on. One of them was the scan scheduling of the software which is just what a user who does not have the time to scan manually for and remove the cache needs:

Furthermore, another interesting feature of the program is its ability to conduct advanced shredding of custom files you wish to add or files in the Recycle Bin. In fact, it has DoD (Department of Defense) shredding level, which is very promising:

Not only this but when the program was tested, it managed to discover several different types of caches and history, including the email cache, multimedia data and also history by third-party applications:

When we performed a scan with it, we noticed that the program scanned several thousand objects in a matter of 3~5 seconds on our testing device. Also, to the benefit of the user, it provides several preferences on what to do with the files:

What We Like

We enjoyed that this program has all of the necessary features, and they are placed properly plus several other pros:

  • Lightness and small size.
  • Scans very fast.
  • Well-placed preferences.
  • DoD standard for file shredding.
  • Not very resource demanding.

What Is Missing

We have discovered several details that present an opportunity for improvement:

  • Design that is suitable for PCs with higher resolution (the quality of the panel is blurred on a big screen).
  • Free evaluation capabilities – the program could offer to clean a limited number of history files or area for the unlicensed user as a promotion.
  • More shredding options – besides DoD shredding level, there are several other shredding algorithms designed for other governments that can be used.

Conclusion

Bottom line, this little program is very light and does the job for you. It can shred your files in a matter of seconds, and you should not be surprised by this. Furthermore, the program’s scheduling allows you to use it on a computer that you may not regularly have physical access to do it manually, which is suitable for system administrators and technicians as well.

Note: This test was performed on a Lenovo B50-70 with 64-bit Windows 10
