in a Win 7 setup, having had Logitech Setpoint installed, the problem persisted until I uninstalled Logitech Setpoint. It used to pop up several times per day eating a lot of memory, if left alone easily consumed over 1.2Mb. Has not reappeared once since I removed the Logitech Setpoint application.
