Scam Detector gives it a trust score of 10.3, flagging it as “Untrustworthy.” PhishDestroy has documented it as an active crypto drainer phishing scam, currently detected by 8 out of 95 VirusTotal vendors and blocked by both MetaMask and SEAL security systems. The domain was registered through Trustname — an Estonian shell company that PhishDestroy researchers describe as actively registering scam crypto casinos behind offshore privacy proxies and that literally calls itself “bulletproof” in its own DNS TXT record. There is nothing legitimate about Zazawin. It is a purpose-built trap.

Zazawin reaches victims through an aggressive multi-channel marketing operation specifically designed to bypass your skepticism. Here’s how it funnels people in:

• Google Ads malvertising and SEO manipulation — PhishDestroy researchers confirmed that Zazawin actively uses Google Ads campaigns and manipulated search results to place itself in front of people searching for crypto gambling platforms. This is malicious advertising operating through legitimate ad infrastructure — making it much harder to identify as a scam at first glance.
• Deepfake celebrity endorsement videos — Zazawin runs paid campaigns on YouTube, Twitter/X, and Telegram featuring AI-generated deepfake videos of celebrities appearing to endorse the platform. These are completely fabricated — a sophisticated form of phishing-adjacent social engineering designed to manufacture credibility before you even visit the site.
• Fake influencer promo codes — Compromised or fake social media influencer accounts distribute promotional codes promising large signup bonuses, creating a sense of exclusive access and urgency that bypasses normal due diligence. Fake user reviews and bot-generated comments are used to reinforce the illusion of legitimacy on neutral forums.
• Malicious redirect chains — Malicious redirect chains through adware-injected browsing sessions can land users on Zazawin without specifically searching for it.

What Does Zazawin Do?

Zazawin is a crypto drainer and deposit-trap operation running simultaneously. Here’s exactly what it does once you engage:

• Wallet drainer phishing — Zazawin’s primary function — confirmed by PhishDestroy — is to trick victims into connecting their crypto wallets and authorizing malicious transactions. Once wallet connection is approved, the platform can drain your entire wallet balance through token approval exploits that execute silently without further user interaction. This is not a gambling platform — it is a phishing operation with a casino interface built on top of it.
• The bonus deposit trap — You’re shown an enormous signup bonus that appears in your balance immediately. Activating or withdrawing it always requires a real crypto deposit first. The bonus is fake — it exists purely to motivate that first real deposit. Once you deposit, the trap closes.
• Simulated wins and withdrawal blocking — Games show you winning to encourage additional deposits. The moment you attempt to withdraw, fake verification requirements, minimum wagering thresholds, or “VIP upgrade” fees are introduced as barriers. These barriers are permanent by design — the platform has no intention of ever releasing your funds.

• If all of the files are related, hold the ⌘+A buttons to select them and then drive them to “Trash”.

In case you cannot find the virus files and objects in your Applications or other places we have shown above, you can manually look for them in the Libraries of your Mac. But before doing this, please read the disclaimer below:
