The users of Windows who are not very good at the technical issues should now feel relieved, since the Microsoft stores will start offering its clients free technical support and malware removal. In the past all the PC problems immediately meant visit to the local PC store, asking for help and paying large amounts of money for that.
Now, if the user lives somewhere near one of the Microsoft Stores, the PC issues could be fixes for free by a professional hired in the company. The retail locations of Microsoft have recently started to offer the so called ‘Answer Desk’ service. In the past, the company used to have a website called Answer Desk that was providing live technical support to the clients’ 24 hours a day, seven days of the week. Today, the Answer Desk of Microsoft Store offers an extension to that service, which is offered onsite at the Microsoft Store or the retail outlet where the computers are fixed for free. This Microsoft services is also available at the Best Buy or Staples stores.
To make things even nicer, the Microsoft help also includes repair or support of the software, extended diagnostics, removal of viruses and malware, as well as tune-ups of the PC to secure better performance. The clients who have more serious problems with their PCs including hardware upgrades, warranty issues, installations of apps, data backup migration, etc. will be charged 49 USD by Microsoft. At the same time, however, some of the premium tech support areas will be offered for free, in case the client buys a new PC from one of the Microsoft Stores.
Thus, PC users with a problem that they cannot fix are now welcome to make an appointment at the Microsoft Store’s Answer Desk.
