Nottotrack.com – Update November 2017

It appears that the NotToTrack website uses the logo, download buttons, design and more from “ExpressVPN” which is a legitimate and well-known VPN software. The reason for that is unknown, whether it is to undermine the reputation of the software or to use its fame to gather a bigger audience for the AnonymizerGadget adware, but it is definitely with some kind of malicious intent. You can see a review of the ExpressVPN software in the article Which Are The Most Secure VPN Services In 2017 to learn more about it.

As to the adware – there might be many more sites with different domains related to the AnonymizerGadget adware or other malware that use different brands to achieve their malicious goals. Proof of the logo, buttons and design plagiarism becomes evident from one look of the websites for the NotToTrack malware and the one of the ExpressVPN service (exhibited below):

The blue lines and arrows are added by SensorsTechForum to express the similarities and to make them to be spot easier and in no way related to the websites.
