MacFly Pro on Mac

MacFly Pro is a free application that is promoted as a Mac optimizing tool. Even though MacFly Pro is stated to specialize in Mac maintenance and cleaning, it appears to be yet another hoax application that can do more harm than good to a macOS. Such apps are not a new thing and their model of behavior is well-known to the cybersecurity community.

First, the app tries to persuade people to download and install it by thinking that they really need it to solve some existing system issues. Then, it successfully obtains access to the device and requires a scanning process. After the scan, the hoax system optimizer displays lots of problems and prompts the purchase of a licensed version that can fix them.

Don’t get fooled by this tactic, it is designed to make you more prone to spend your money on an app that has no real value. Most of the detected problems tend to be of minor importance while others can be not existing.
