FunMoods – Distribution Methods
The FunMoods PUP is usually distributed with third-party installers. Unaware, you can get the PUP installed on your machine because it can hide in freeware installations and bundled packages. These and other sites, to which you may be redirected, can make revenue on a pay-per-click basis.
When your browsers are hijacked, whenever you do a search, the results will go through the FunMoods search engine and your homepage and searches will be set to the start.funmoods(.)com domain:

The Privacy Policy of FunMoods currently states that a cookie will be placed on your computer and different information about you and your computer can be collected:
The different information that may be collected, as stated above, includes, but is not limited to:
- IP address
- geo-location
- Browser types and browser language
- operating system and language
- whether the OS is 32bit or 64bit
- installation date
- time zone
- your default search providers
- changes made in your system

FunMoods – Removal Manual

Get rid of FunMoods from Mac OS X.
Step 1: Uninstall FunMoods and remove related files and objects
1. Hit the ⇧+⌘+U keys to open Utilities. Another way is to click on “Go” and then click “Utilities”, like the image below shows:
- Go to Finder.
- In the search bar type the name of the app that you want to remove.
