Recently my Google Chrome search bar has been hijacked to redirect my searches to Bing. I’ve had experience with these types of malware on PC before, but not on Mac. The redirect URL is something with “”. Does anyone know the application name that I downloaded on accident so I can remove it?

Either way, once you install this browser hijacker on your Mac, it may begin to attack web browsers by changing critical settings in them and changing their home page and new tab page to a redirection page of another search engine besides your default one. The web browsers that can be affected are most popular browsers on Mac, like Safari, Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, Opera and others.
