rp_pc-150x150.pngMany users are viewing unwanted advertisements on the pages they regularly visit. In most cases, such advertisements are generated by ad-supported software developed as browser extensions and add-ons. GrouperConcept most likely fits the description of an application offering the user assistance while shopping online. GrouperConcept may show advertisements (pop-up/ pop-under windows, banners, in-text ads) about discounts and similar, shopping-related deals.

However, such content sponsored by GrouperConcept may not be entirely safe since it may have sneaked into the system without the user’s prior knowledge.

Why Do I See Ads by GrouperConcept?

One of the distribution ways applied by adware is called bundling. Bundling is the process of offering several products in one single package. In software, bundling is deployed mostly for financial reasons. However, some third party digital advertisers may rely on ad-supported browser extensions to gather first-hand information from users.
Bundling can be avoided by opting for the advanced software installer and unchecking added software.
