Total System Care is promoted as an optimization tool. It promises to provide users with a variety of services: boost your PC’s speed, fix errors, protect you against infections, and a few others. So users may think that having it will be beneficial for their systems. However, this is not the case. Total System Care is considered to be a potentially unwanted program. It will not be helpful at all. Actually, it has been developed to trick users into paying for a license. It is recommended that you remove this application from your computer as soon as possible.
Total System Care Distribution Method
Total System Care is available on its official website. So, some users may be tricked into downloading it themselves. However, there are alternative methods for it to enter your system. It can do this through bundled downloads. This tactic is commonly used by potentially unwanted programs. Total System Care will be featured on some freeware installer. This way, it is able to get installed on system without users even noticing it. There are a few things you can do if you want to avoid potentially unwanted programs getting installed unbeknownst to you:
- Avoid third-party software dispensers. They often feature bundled downloads.
- Pay attention to the information that you are presented in the install wizard.
- Select Advanced/Custom installation. This will enable you to prevent any additional software from being installed.
Total System Care Description and Behavior
The purpose of Total System Care is to convince users to buy a license for its full version. It will do a number of things in order to accomplish this:
- It will start scanning your system completely on its own.
- It will claim that there are dozens, if not hundreds, of problems with your system.
- It will cause problems for your computer’s performance.
- It will meddle with your Internet connection.
It will do all of these things just to trick you into purchasing a license. It goes without saying that we do not recommend doing this. It will not help you in any way. What is more, even after you purchase a license, the scareware will continue to be active on the system and it will still cause problems for it. What is more, you will be giving away your personal and financial details to an untrustworthy party. Instead of trusting Total System Care, it is strongly recommended that you remove it from your computer as soon as possible.
Total System Care Removal Tips
Total System Care can be removed manually. Open Control Panel, go to the list of programs, find Total System Care, and uninstall it. However, removing this program is not enough to ensure that your computer is totally safe. You may have let more potentially unwanted programs onto your computer. What is more, malware could also infiltrate it. We do recommend having a security tool on your computer, but a reliable one. This will get rid of all unwanted programs from your PC. It will also protect your system against future attacks on your system.
Spy Hunter scanner will only detect the threat. If you want the threat to be automatically removed, you need to purchase the full version of the anti-malware tool.Find Out More About SpyHunter Anti-Malware Tool / How to Uninstall SpyHunter
