YixSpeedUp – Activity Report
YixSpeedUp can end up being on your computer as a result of being downloaded from a web page you may have been redirected to. Such pages often pretend to be fake BSOD (blue screen of death) or pages that say your computer is at risk or has an error.
To fix the errors the page may prompt you to download YixSpeedUp, that once added, may look like the following:
Be advised that it is not a good idea to trust YixSpeedUp or any of the errors it shows on your computer. The main reason for that is these errors may not even be actual ones and maybe just a big show to trick you. The goal of this program is for you to buy its full version, and it does not allow you to fix the “errors” unless you pay. And if you do pay, this software may also subscribe to an automatic renewal scheme that may drain money from your account over periods of time.
Also, if you have downloaded YixSpeedUp as a result of being redirected to a page, then you may have another problem with your computer. Such apps often get pushed as a result of adware that may be showing redirects to their scammy pages. If you do have adware, then you probably have already started seeing the following types of promotions on your browsers:
- Pop-up adverts.
- Push notifications.
- Banner ads.
- Browser redirects.
- Highlighted text promotions.
And these are not your ordinary ads, too. They may be very aggressive and slow your computer’s performance significantly. And YixSpeedUp may be just a consequence of seeing these ads. This is why it is strongly recommended to remove YixSpeedUp altogether with any adware that may have led you to such scammy apps.
